How come everyone’s talking about JJF?
CMP, organizer of the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Fair and other leading jewellery events in Asia, assumed ownership of the Japan Jewellery Fair (JJF) starting with the 2006 event and immediately expanded the scale of the exhibition and the volume of participation by foreign companies.
Over 500 exhibitors from more than 22 countries and regions
The dramatic increase in the size and popularity of JJF is entirely due to CMP’s passionate development and promotion of the fair as a highly professional and international event. In 2005, the number of exhibitors at JJF was 264 companies. By 2007 that number had soared to 495 companies and the exhibition is expected to develop further again this year. Around 500 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions will participate in JJF 2008, and there will be national pavilions from countries and regions such as Italy, Germany, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong as well as individual exhibitors from France, U.S.A, Australia, Canada, and China.
Exquisite jewellery collections targeted for the year-end season
The Japan Jewellery Fair is the largest jewellery exhibition to be held in the second half of the year in Japan. Taking place in Tokyo in early autumn, JJF is ideally timed for stock purchasing ahead of the year-end season by jewellery retailers and wholesalers.
More professional. More international. Unparalleled quality
CMP, in close partnership with the Japan Jewellery Association, has re-established JJF as a high quality, world-class exhibition targeting professional jewellery buyers. One significant change is that the exhibition is now held over three weekdays to enable the maximum number of jewellery retailers to visit the show.
Rich program of events, seminars and workshops
A wide variety of industry events will be held alongside the Japan Jewellery Fair exhibition. These include the prize giving ceremony for the Japan Jewellery Association's prestigious Jewellery Design Awards, the official announcement of the details of the JJA’s Jewellery Day retailer campaign for 2009, the Japan Brand Collection display, the Peal Jewellery Fashion Show and a special cross-industry collaboration fashion show held in conjunction with Bunka Fashion College, one of Japan’s leading fashion schools. Speakers for the seminars will include top figures from the domestic and international jewellery community. This year the seminar sessions will be held in a specially built venue on the exhibition show floor, making JJF a truly integrated source of information and inspiration to grow your jewellery business.
