JJA Jewellery Design Award 2008
This prestigious awards scheme is held each year by the Japan Jewellery Association with the winners being announced at JJF. The Awards presentation ceremony will be held on the first day of the exhibition and the winning designs will be displayed in the Design Award area of the special event zone. |

| Announcement of the 2009 Jewellery Day Campaign Theme
November 11th is the day that the term KARAT was first denominated the weight of jewellery. This promotional campaign, sponsored by the Japan Jewellery Association, is aimed at stimulating retail sales of jewellery throughout Japan. Each year themes are chosen to epitomize a consensus of contemporary fashion trends. Starting from 2009, the concept will be changed so that each day will be a "Special Jewellery Day"
The Jewellery of the year for the 2009 campaign is “Diamond”. At the 2009 Jewellery Day Campaign Announcement, actress Ms. Reiko Takashima will be at the show.
